In the past after spending time in Ukraine for summer, I would be home by now. This is my first autumn in Ukraine. So, I’m back to the big city where there is a chill in the air, the sweaters are out of storage, the leaves are already turning yellow and brown and littering the ground, there’s the roar of the metro (subway), the honking of horns, watermelons are at their sweetest, children are back in school and so am I. I have been energized by the summer. Most summers over the past few years have gone by without my being able to enjoy them. I truly enjoyed this summer.
Read more about my eventful summer in my most recent prayer letter.

Hi Tania! Bill and I will be in Kiev in ~ 3 1/2 weeks. We have our appt with the SDA and then will be headed to Odessa. Can we connect? I don’t know where we’ll be staying yet, but please email me. We’d love to see you.

Nice to hear from you. You look good and healthy. I hope you have a hat and some shoes for the cold months that are ahead of you. Stay warm and I know you will continue to grow in their language. You are in my prayers.

Hi Tania,
Great to hear from you and see the pictures regarding summer involvment. It sounds like you are making a great adjustment to life in Ukraine. Due to financial cutbacks, I was not able to come to Ukraine this spring or summer, but hope to return again to visit our sister church. We were able to supply the necessary funds for 2 day camps: One in Mlyniv and another in the village of Moshkiv. May the Lord continue to supply all your needs emotionally, spiritually, socially and in your language development. Just spent time praying for you. God’s richest blessings on you.

Great newsletter, great pictures! I was at the FBCG Global Missions meeting when you made the Skype call and spoke to the group. It was good to see you and hear how fluently you are speaking Ukraine. You are truly walking in your calling. Keep being that “witness” He called you to be.
