Were You Arrested?

November 18th, 2010 · 4 Comments

This was the question we were asked recently as our church cleaned up the territory around the college where we rent space for our services. Two or three times a year we service the college in whatever way in need as an outreach to the administration, students and community in our district. We told the man who asked the question that we had not been arrested, but he could not believe that we would clean without being forced to do it. On the day we cleaned it was very windy and as soon as we swept up some leaves the wind would replace them. The next day, Sunday, there was not much evidence of our service but we were a witness to the man and the many other people who walked by that the love of Jesus can change a life and cause you to do things in a community that is extra ordinary. There was evidence of our service in his heart. Here are a few pictures http://www.facebook.com/album.php?aid=251907&id=550104316&l=878cb11b21

What a blessing. As I read your blog it hit me that yes we as true believers have been arrested by the love and grace of God. Keep doing the work of our King.

PS. Saw your wonderful pastor at the dedication of the CWW Collaboration Center. What a preacher! Love him.
